Dear Bethel Congregation,

On behalf of the Finance Committee, please find below the updated Feb. 2021 Month-End Financial Report.  Moving forward, we will keep the congregation better informed about Bethel's financial situation by providing you with quarterly financial reports.  This will help you better plan your giving patterns throughout the year and will also help you know how to pray for Bethel's ongoing financial situation.

You will see the yellow cell in the table attached which tells us that our Non-Designated Giving has a shortfall of approximately 25% in the first two months of 2021 at -$10,342.  We will need to work at getting this up to budgeted number as the year goes on.

The expenses are being held to budgeted levels, and we are thankful for that.

One piece of exciting news that we just received this week is that the Bethel families HAVE met the Pledge Target of $20,000 that we have been working towards since the AGM.  The exact amount pledged is $20,000.  Praise God for the generosity of His people!

For those that may not be aware, Pledges were required for the 2021 budgeted year (giving above and beyond a family's normal giving pattern), in order to meet the shortfall budget presented at the AGM, if we were going to retain all staffing at current levels and the ministry programs we are supporting.  We are so grateful that we can now set this concern aside and move forward with confidence knowing that the 2021 approved budget will be supported by the Bethel congregation.

Thank you again for your financial support and prayers for Bethel during this difficult time when we are unable to meet in person due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
