Hourly Wage: $20.00
Start Date: Flexible - Summer 2021 for 8 weeks ending on or before Aug 31
Hours: 35 hrs/wk
> Spiritual: Vibrant relationship with Jesus with a desire to facilitate others’ relationship with Jesus. Able to agree with and live by our statement of faith. (available upon request, firstname.lastname@example.org)
> Administrative: Able to plan, prepare for, and execute complex activities and operate within Bethel’s policies, procedures and bylaws.
> Creativity: Able to see unique solutions, particularly in light of current and changing COVID guidelines and restrictions.
> Leadership: Competent as a leader, recruiter/developer of leaders, and leader of volunteers
> Initiative: Able to identify next steps of a project and problem solve issues as they arise
> Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
> Valid Criminal Records Check (for working with children).
> Effective oral and written communicator.
Tasks/Responsibilities - As needs arise and giftings allow (and as Covid rules allow):
> Plan, organize and lead:
o Day Camps for community children and youth.
o Sporting events for community children, youth, and families.
o Community meals for families to facilitate strong neighbourhood connections.
o Community service days to facilitate strong neighbourhood connections.
o Youth group events.
> Engage with seniors to encourage and connect with them.
> Assist with or perform other tasks/duties that may arise throughout the course of employment
> Help in church services through preaching, teaching, leading worship, and digital media (e.g. recording, editing, or uploading)
