What do you love about Bethel? I love the big and little ways Bethel serves the community. Youth group, working with the Food Bank, supporting a church in Mexico, and the countless little actions the people do out of love for their neighbors and community. It makes me excited to connect with and serve our community!
Why are you serving as our Pastoral Intern? I love the community at Bethel and the work they do, and I really want to be a part of it! I care about community, the Bible, and experiencing Jesus, and through my role I’m able to invite others into those. I also feel called to be a pastor one day, and Bethel has sought to train and equip me for that through my work as an intern. It’s a beautiful, mutually beneficial relationship – I am able to serve Bethel and provide input, and they build up the younger generation to be the church of the future.
Where do you see God working in your life? Recently, I’ve been seeing God want to be in all aspects of my life, and for me to be able to recognize where he is in little ways. A beautiful sunset, a good conversation, a moment of joy, a good sleep – learning how to recognize God is always with me, and his fingerprints are in all the little things.
What makes you laugh the most? One thing that CONSISTENTLY makes me keel over laughing is The Office. I am confident that I have more Office trivia and quotes in my head than almost anyone, and will challenge anyone who says otherwise.
